Well, coming it is. Clint got a job last week - in the Boise valley - Parma to be exact. So they will be packing up and moving all the way across the state - to some suburb of Boise. I am so excited for them but not so excited that they are now going to be 8 hours away from me instead of just 4. But somehow I am at peace with it. I knew this day was coming but it is going to be hard for me to have Rachel so far away - far enough that I can't get to her in half a day! But closer than the job he applied for in Maryland. For that I am grateful. And for technology like Webcams that allow us to see each other whenever we want to.
Oh and David got a job last week! For that I am grateful. It was a week for jobs - lots of tender mercies :)
Oh and Lynn passed the LCSW (licensed clinical Social Worker) test last week - the last step in his formal education which started almost 8 years ago. Now he can read and study whatever he wants to instead of studying for the test. I'm grateful for the personal growth that I have had during this very spiritual process of him trying 3 times to pass. It wasn't about the exam. It was about whether or not he and I were allowing the spirit to tutor us and move us to a different place than we were a year ago. It was about submitting my will to the Lord's will and accepting that He has a plan. He knows the steps I must take, the journey I must walk, the growth I must have so that I can be an instrument in His hands! He knows that I must be here in Montana separated from my family. But life is good and I am a better person than I was a year ago. I am a better person than I was 3 years ago when we moved to Montana. I am a little wiser, a lot more humble, more teachable, more grateful!

| My handsome guy!! |

Wow! Lots of good things happening in your family. We have learned a similar lesson as you have this last year, with Brent's job and being in Utah. It was a very humbling experience with lots of growth. I'm so sorry we missed seeing you guys this last weekend! We were hoping we could visit on Sunday but you guys left pretty quickly. We'll have to try again next time!
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed. I am very happy to hear good employment news for your kids. And we knew Lynn would pass this test. It was just a matter of time. He is a great guy. Will this open up new avenues for you now...employment wise....like in Boise? :)
ReplyDeleteI bet that was the best camping trip you have ever been on in your life...
ReplyDeleteI love this post, and I love you. I am sorry for the things and challenges you face right now (I read your next post). I know you can do it. I am just sorry you that to do this right now.
