Since someday I would like to print this blog into a book and use it as part of my life history maybe I should get busy and catch up. After all it is the new year and I'm no where near finished with 2011. So here goes!
Lynn and I and the kids - all of us - went to Island Park again and had a fabulous time. It was even more fun this year because it was in the summer and the weather was perfect. We went over Mom's birthday this year. It was a good distraction for me! Jeff and Ashlee took up a couple of 4-wheelers so we had fun on those and we went exploring and had a hotdog/smore roast one night. Interesting things happened that weekend. Some growing experiences. Things I won't share here because they are tucked away in my journal. I love to watch the grandkids grow and explore and learn and play together. So here are the pictures to document the weekend.

We were walking up the path to visit an old cabin. I turned

a paddle boat so we went and rented some for a while. It was NOT fun.
They were so hard to steer...in fact David had to jump in to save his family
from a swift ride down the river...Sorry about your boots David :) |
