Spring Break

Even though we have no children left at home and in school ~ because I teach Seminary I am tied to the same schedule that the kids are in high school.  So indeed I looked forward to spring break this year.  I was tired of the early mornings and needed a break.  My sister in law and kids came up to visit on the 26th and stayed with Lynn and I for the weekend.  Oh it was so fun.  I have missed them something fierce since we have been gone.

I rode with Angie and the kids back to Idaho on Sunday.  She dropped me off with Rachel and I spent 3 days with her.  A perfect way to start a week.  We shopped all day on Monday, sewed and organized Hailee's room on Tuesday getting it ready for the baby, and then just lazed around on Wednesday waiting for Lynn to arrive from Montana.  He and I then went to Idaho Falls and spent a few hours with Jeff and Ashlee and the kids.  We had dinner with them and played with the kids:)  Then we spent the night in Blackfoot with Mom and Dad.

On Thursday we headed over to Jerome to spend a few days with David and Jessica and the kids.  We haven't really spent much time with them since last summer so this was so fun to be there for 3 1/2 days.  It took a couple of hours for Brynlie to warm up but warm up she did and what fun we had.  On Friday we went shopping in Twin Falls ~ got clothes for everyone ~ then Lynn and David and the kids went home and Jess and I found an amazing quilting store in Twin with GREAT fabric that we bought so she could make a quilt and curtains for Clay's room.  Friday night the 4 of us went to the temple then out to eat at Appleby's.

Saturday we watched conference and then while David and Lynn were at Priesthood meeting, Jess and I made the quilt top.  I'm sad I didn't get a picture of it.  I'll have to have her send me one.  We had a nice visit while we were sewing :)  We had dinner with the guys after they got home.  Watched a movie and went to bed.

Sunday was spent watching Conference again.  It was so good :) Then after eating prime rib for Easter dinner we headed back to Blackfoot for the night, visited with Rachel and Clint, rocked Hailee to sleep, and went to bed.

Monday morning we did some shopping at Winco (a warehouse, great prices compared to Montana food store), went and said goodbye to Preston and Tayci and headed home.  We got home about 4ish, put the food away, watched TV while eating dinner, then took some potatoes (straight off the farm) over to our friends!  It was a great week!!!!  Filled my bucket, made me smile, made me laugh and even made me cry!  My family is the best!  I love you guys more than words can express!  Thanks for the memories.  Can't wait until Island Park in 10 days!!!
